With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Leland Van Horn (Pocahontas, Iowa), born in Williamsburg, Iowa, who passed away on March 28, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Horn and Edith Van Horn (Baird); his son Russell; and his brothers, Frank, Dean, Paul and Robert.

He is survived by : his wife Ernella Balster; his daughters, Kathy Runchey (Joe) of Wahpeton, IA and Cheryl Brisbois (Terry) of Pocahontas; his grandchildren, Angela Strobel (Joe), Jennifer Boerjan (Andy) and Mahmoud Karim; and his great grandchildren, Payton, Brayden Strobel, Maya and Tyson Butler.
