He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Huebert and Gertrude Huebert (Leinen); his siblings, Damian, Dal Huebert, Verda Mae Huebert and Karen Risk (Bob); his grandson David Christensen; and his great grandchild Kenadie Gessert.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Hermeling of Portsmouth; his children, Dan Huebert (Rachelle Bradley) of Persia, Mike Huebert of Persia, Dennis Huebert (Jeana) of Denison, Deb (Dean Gessert) of Harlan, Diane (Steve Mumm) of Portsmouth and Janice Christensen (Gary Stolz) of Earling, Iowa; his brother Neil Huebert (Cherylene) of Panama, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Sharon Huebert of Omaha. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
Memorials may be given to the Portsmouth American Legion Post # 547 or to the Shelby County Catholic Schools.
