It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Ann Musich of Portsmouth, Iowa, born in Denison, Iowa, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Grote and Marie Grote (Rau); and her brother Lloyd Grote. She is survived by: her former spouses, Jan Randall and Rich Musich; her daughter Christine Forney (Jammie) of Glenwood, Iowa; her grandchildren, Corey Dimon of Omaha, Nebraska and Melissa Forney of Springfield, Missouri; her siblings, Linda Anderson (Bill) of Wheaton, Illinois, Mike Grote (Mary) of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Kathy Sporrer (Mel) of Portsmouth, Iowa, Leona Bladt (Dan) of Shelby, Iowa, Geralyn Sachs (Paul) of St. Augustine, Florida, Marita Heiman (Jay) of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Maxine Gaul (Mark) of Orange City, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Lee Grote of Omaha, Nebraska. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Shelby County Catholic Schools.
