He is survived by: his wife Kim Schneider of Portsmouth, Iowa; his children, Michelle Thompson (David) of Johnston, Iowa, Cynthia Gjersvik (Perry) of Clive, Iowa, Douglas Schneider of Panama, Iowa, Valerie Jansen (David) of Ankeny, Iowa, Michael Schneider (Ashley) of Portsmouth, Iowa, Andrew Schneider (Clarissa) of Portsmouth, Iowa and Julie Schneider (Josh Travis) of Harlan, Iowa; his siblings, Jerome "Buzz" Schneider (Connie) of Harlan, Iowa, Allen Schneider (Sue) of Harlan, Iowa, Mary Fitzgerald (Gary) of Clare, Iowa, Denise Andries (Mark) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jeanie Friesen (Ken) of Crescent, Iowa, Sandy Busch (John) of Defiance and Pam Gingrich of Greenwood; and his sisters-in-law, Jan Schneider of Avoca, Iowa and Barb Fulitano.
