It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean A. Kennedy of Prairie City, Iowa, who passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Thompson and Grace Thompson (Clippenger); her siblings, Jane Lenning, Joellen Adams, Richard Thompson and Robert Thompson (Bobby); and her siblings-in-law, Marjorie Thompson and Harold Adams.
She is survived by: her friend Dwight Kennedy; her husband Dwight; her daughters, Marla Kennedy Gallardo and Kim Smith (Tim); her granddaughter Brandi Miller (Christopher); her great grandchild Isabella; her grandchild Ryan Smith (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Jackson and Charlotte; her granddaughter Elizabeth Gallardo; and her great grandchild Axel. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
