He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Albert Damewood Sr. and Dorothy Leah Damewood (Hulsizer); his grandson Jacob Grossnickle; his wife April Damewood; his former wife Karon Kimpson; and his siblings, Harold Damewood, Jr., Larry Damewood, Dennis Damewood and Patricia Damewood.
He is survived by: his former wife Karon Thorpe; his children, Brenda Steeve (Dan) of Corning, Brian Damewood (Carla) of Corning, John Grossnickle (Trista) of Corning, Shawn Dorsett of Clearfield, Iowa and Mindy Bailey (Greg) of Creston, Iowa; his siblings, Sam Damewood of Texas and JoAnn Thomas of Lincoln, Nebraska; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Damewood of Gravity, Iowa, Ellen Damewood of Silver City, Iowa and Nancy Damewood of Estes Park, Colorado. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
