It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertus Deridder Sr. (Primghar, Iowa), who passed away on December 14, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Huibert DeRidder and Marie DeRidder (DeKruif); his great grandchild Maelynn Kay DeRidder; his brother-in-law Pete Flick; and his sibling Marlin.

He is survived by : his spouse Kathleen "Kay" Flick; his children, Bertus (Betty DeRidder Jr.), Iowa Jerry (Gloria DeRidder) and Iowa Karen (Larry Stewart); and his sister-in-law Verlene Flick of Hartley.
