In loving memory of Lena Alexander of Promise City, Iowa, who departed this world on July 15, 2025 at the age of 92. Lena leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Garber and Elizabeth Garber (Deiner); and her grandson Kenny Mathes. She is survived by: her husband Richard Alexander; her children, Paul Alexander (Deleta), Mary Palmer (Carol), David Alexander (Kelley), Lois Palmer (Craig) and Stephen Alexander (Melissa); her siblings, Homer Garber (Twila), Rosie Fulks and Mary Gehman; and her brother-in-law Bob Alexander. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Corydon Bible Church. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the Confidence Cemetery.
