Theda Jean Wiese Obituary
We bid farewell to Theda Jean Wiese of Raymond, Iowa, born in Portsmouth, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 8, 2025 at the age of 86. Theda Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Towne and Hermagene Towne (Stephens); her husband Allan Wiese; her siblings, Patricia Graham and Gary Towne; her siblings-in-law, Ladelle Hanson, Junie Hanson, Lyla Thompson and Allen Thompson; and her daughters-in-law, Kristin Wiese and Jeanette Wiese.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Wiese (Chris) of Manning, Jean Stadtlander (Todd) of Manning and Ronnie Wiese; her grandchildren, Kara Havick (Doug), Parker Wiese, Aly Stadtlander (Will Taylor), Zoey Wiese and Olivia Wiese; her great grandchildren, Owen and Camden Havick; her stepgrandchildren, Jazmine Malone (Matt) and Zac Kratofil; her brother Don Towne; and also, Declan, Rowan Malone and Crue Kratofil. She is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (116 Center St, Manning, IA 51455). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. She was an active member of the community, serving as an officer with the MRHC Auxiliary, volunteering with RSVP, and Reading Buddies at Manning and IKM-Manning Schools.
