He is survived by: his children, Patrick Blythe (Donna) of Reasnor, Michael Blythe (Barb) of Kellogg and Susan Ponder (Paul) of Prairie City; his grandchildren, Joshua Blythe (Nagi) of Okinawa, Eden Guffey (J. J.) of Newton, Lee Blythe (Emily) of Pardeeville, Forrest Blythe (Josie) of Ames, Meredith Ponder (Coleby Hanisch) of Des Moines and Jacob Ponder of Ames; his brother Norman Blythe (Gene) of Oxnard, California; and his sister-in-law Patricia Blythe of What Cheer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
