It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Simbro of Reasnor, Iowa, born in Knoxville, Iowa, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Slykhuis and Ruby Dora Slykhuis (Marshall); her husband Bernard Simbro; her siblings, Shirley Van Gorp and John Slykhuis; and her siblings-in-law, Clifford, Pat Simbro, Coralee and Eldon Marshall.

She is survived by: her children, Stacy Simbro (Dana) of Newton, Tresa Miller (Robert) of Newton and Marcy Woodhouse (Steve) of Reasnor; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Simbro and Sean Simbro; her sister Martha Atteberry (Jim) of Pella; and her brother-in-law Elbert Van Gorp of Pella. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Masks will be required and social distancing will be enforced.
