Marjorie Theresa (Thomann) Hora Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Theresa (Thomann) Hora of Riverside, Iowa, who passed away on May 12, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford O. Thomann and Anna T. Thomann (Simon); her husband Edwin Michael Hora of Mary's Catholic Church; and her siblings, Bernard, Donald, Lawrence, Jim Thomann, Vera Davis, Marie Kiene and Lillan Kiene.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hora (Cindy) of Washington, Sue Hora (John Menage), Anthony Hora of Riverside, Thomas Hora (Mary Kay) of Riverside and Andrew Hora (Mary); her grandchildren, Justin (Kelly Metz), Matt (Erin), Kristen Becker (Tyler) and Jessica; her great grandchildren, Isabelle, Chase, Dylan, Brenna, Kaylee and Weston; her sister Doris Yeggy of Riverside; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Thomann, Alberta Thomann and Kay Thomann-Tener.
A rosary was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Holy (51 St Mary's St, Riverside, IA 52327). Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (201 E 2nd St, Riverside, IA 52327). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established for Priests For Life and RICA for the Holy Family Parish.
