With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Weiss of Rockwell City, Iowa, who passed away on December 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Bailey and Elizabeth Bailey (Heath); and her sister-in-law Elnora Bailey. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Weiss of Rockwell City; her children, Sherri Ellis (Jeff) of Jolley and John Weiss (Denise Sittig) of Carroll; her grandchildren, Vanessa Solko, Felicia Ellis, Catrina Casey (Adam), Alan Weiss (Liz), Justina Higgins (Zac) and Matt Weiss (Alicia); her great grandchildren, Bailey, Avery, Graham Solko, River, Clayton, Mack Casey, Carlie, Audrie, Emmett, Joseph, Isaiah Weiss, Wilder Higgins and Lincoln Weiss; and her brother LeRoy Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hope Church (333 Brower St, Rockwell City, IA 50579). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
