He was predeceased by: his mother Stella Sigmon; his son Matthew Sigmon; and his parents-in-law, Earl and Maude Shaw. He is survived by: his former wife Doris Marlene Shaw; his wife Marlene Sigmon of Sac City, IA; his son Mark Sigmon (Dianna) of Sac City; his grandchildren, Melissa Thomsen (Gregg) of Sac City, Michelle Auen (Mike) of Sac City, Sarah Thompson (Taylor) of Sac City, Mollie Sigmon of Sac City, Kellie Sigmon of Sac City, Jadon Horton of Sac City and Shawn Sigmon (Summer); and his siblings, Arlene Foster (Bob), Ardith Sigmon of Des Moines, IA and Arlin Sigmon (Eleanor) of Auburn, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials have been requested to be directed to the United Methodist Church in Sac City, Iowa.
