He is survived by: his mother Sherry Busch (Hooper) of Sac City, IA; his wife Amy Wessendorf of Sac City, IA; his sons, Paul Wessendorf of Des Moines, IA and Adam Wessendorf (Sumer) of Wall Lake, IA; his grandchildren, Scarlett, Leo, Theodore, Malcolm, Gerry, Dylan and Trissana; his sister Kim Rahn (Darlo) of Sac City, IA; his nephew Josh Asmus (Jessica); his brothers-in-law, Mike Vauble (Rhonda) of Sac City, IA and Tim Vauble of Omaha, NE; his close friends, Amanda Ladehoff and Jim Taylor of Lytton, IA; Destini of Lake City, IA. He is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Early Union Cemetery (2223 230th St, Early, IA 50535).
