He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennings Berg and Myrtle Berg; his wife LaVerle "Bobbie" Asmus; and his son Mike. He is survived by: his children, William Berg (Beverly) of Ames and Debbie Berg of Atlantic; his grandchildren, Micah Berg (Julie), Nathaniel Jones (Andrea), Kyle Berg (Michelle), Brandon Berg (Allison), Kevin Berg (Bridget), Ryan Berg (LeeAnn) and Jenna Berg; Russ Wilken. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
