It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Scherle (Sac City, Iowa), born in Lytton, Iowa, who passed away on June 27, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Hameister and Katherine Hameister (Fisher); her daughter Agnes Edna Scherle; her siblings, Henrika Bartels, Dorothea Nuehring (Clarence), Gustav Hameister and Gerhardt Hameister; and her siblings-in-law, Emma Hieb and Ruben Scherle.
She is survived by: her spouse Rev. Friedrich Adam Scherle; her son Fred Scherle III (Nancy) of Waukee, IA; her grandchildren, Fred Scherle IV (Jenny) and Nicole Scherle; and her great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Nicholas and Emily Scherle. She is also survived by twin great grandchildren due in November 2019; many extended family members and friends.
