He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernhard August and Alberta Schramm (Scothorn); his children, Steven (Carole Olsen) of Early, IA, Jack (Debbie Sandage) of Sioux City, IA, Merilee (Robert Dick) and Colin (John Keeling) of Kansas City, MO.; his grandchildren, John Schramm, Scott Schramm, Belinda Wagner, Taylor Schramm, Seth Schramm and Ryan Johnson; his wife Alma Lee Covey; and his siblings, Shirley Mae Mason and Darrel Schramm. He was also cherished by 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations are made to the Iowa Veterans Home, 1301 Summit St., Marshalltown, IA 50158, or the Early United Methodist Church, 402 Hickory St., Early, IA 50535.
