She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Hott and Cora Hott (Stout); her husband Lee Blessington; her son Lyle Blessington; her children-in-law, Jeri Blessington and Darwyn Witte; and her siblings, Phillip Hott, Vern Hott and Barbara Peters.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Witte of Des Moines, IA and Donna Schwanz (Henry Horst) of Lake View, IA; and her grandchildren, Kristie LoPresti (Grant), Tamara Funkhouser (Chris), Michelle Hoogendorn, LeRoy Blessington, Jason Witte (Julie), Sarah Witte, Nathan Witte (Lindsay), Chad Schwanz, Casey Schwanz (Jaime) and Julie Brincks (John). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; many extended family members and friends.
