He is survived by: his children, Lance Veit (Christina) of Davis, CA, Valerie Nepper (Paul) of Odebolt, IA, Rebecca Curnyn (Tim) of Kiron, IA, Barbara Veit of Storm Lake, IA and Stephanie Cooke (Stephen) of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren, Nicole Smith (Jason), Brandon Nepper (Rachel), Aaron Nepper (Jessica), Jennifer Rath (Sean), Shawna Hopkins (Mark), Adam Ullrich (Deanna), Levi Ullrich (Laura), Sara Roeder (Matt), Matthew, Andrew, Victoria Cooke, Rachael and Jacob Veit; and his sister Leona Mattson of Crescent City, CA.. He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren.
