He is survived by: his former wife Josephine "Jo" Evans; his wife Jo Manthe of Lake View, IA; his children, Linda Wolfe of Des Moines, IA, Chris Manthe (Elaine) of Madrid, IA, Ellen Frank (Jeff) of Auburn, IA, Carolyn Sexton of Decorah, IA and Bruce Manthe of Merrill, IA; his grandchildren, Terri Jo Nuechterlein, C. J. Manthe, Brooke Schaffer (Nick), Daniel Frank (Misty), Mitch Frank (Sophie), Shane Evans (Alison), Jesse Evans (Nichole), David Sexton (Jaclyn), Ben Sexton, Brette Feldhacker (Tyler) and Nick Manthe; his great grandchildren, Lily, Brooks, Minnie, Kylie, Samuel, Aaron, Brooke, Abigail, Ziva, Nicholas, Kaelyn and Sloane; his great great grandchild Brynlee; his sisters, Eileen Quinley, Edna Moore (Norman), Pauline Peyton (Dale) and Freda Meyer (Dale) of Schaller, IA; and his sister-in-law Patricia Johnson. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
