It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Swift (Salem, Iowa), born in Fairfield, Iowa, who passed away on November 8, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Henry and Ruby Elaine Swift (Moss); and his brothers, Bob, David and Virgil "J. R.".
He is survived by: his former wife Debra Wilson; his pet Brandy; his children, Michele Bensch (Pierre) of Salem, IA, Melanie Anderson (Jay) of Hillsboro, IA and Nathan Swift of Salem, IA; his brothers, Roger Swift (Freda) of Cary, IL and Terry Swift of Paduka, KY.; his grandchildren, Haley (Taylor), Samantha, Joseph, Macy, Andrew and Elaina; his stepgrandsons, Matthew, Brady and Bryce; and his great grandchildren, Joslynn, Karli, Lailah and Mylee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
