She is survived by: her husband Russell Novak; her children, Suzette, Michael, Sue Graafstra (Cliff) of Monroe, WA, Lori Bollema of Portales, NM and Lisa Van Ess (Harvey) of Sanborn, IA; her grandchildren, Kelly Moulaison (Collin), Jessie Lammon, Toni Webster, Richard Bollema (Carly), Ryan Bollema (Tish), Racheal Bruton (Josh), Joshua Van Ess, Jeremy Van Ess (Patricia), Chad Van Ess (Jordan), Tyler Van Ess (Anna) and Todd Van Ess (Stefanie); and her close friends, Sue and Mike Skillen. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
