She was predeceased by: her father Arnold John; her husband LeRoy Venenga of Ashton, IA; her mother Nellie Van Der Wilt (Groendyke); her in-laws, Herman and Marie Runge; her brothers, Dennis Van Der Wilt and Arlen Van Der Wilt; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Runge, Linda Runge, George Venenga, Clarence Runge, Herman John Runge, Jr. and Darwin Van Maasdam.
She is survived by: her siblings, Harold Van Der (Joyce), Edna Van Maasdam of Ocheyedan, IA and Ruth Dagel (Tom) of Ashton, IA; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Van Der Wilt of Boyden, IA, Rosemary Venenga of Hartford, SD, Susan Runge of Sioux Falls, SD and Grace Runge of Sibley, IA; her grandchildren, Cameron Vande Weerd (Emily), Connor Vande Weerd, Aaron Venenga, Morgan Venenga, Justine Meendering (Jordan Kyle) and Faith Venenga; and her great grandchildren, Clayton John Vande Weerd, Kayden Lee Vande Weerd and Larkin Faye Vande Weerd. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sanborn Funeral Home (401 Main St, Sanborn, IA 51248). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Roseland Cemetery (5621 320th St, Sanborn, IA 51248). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Reformed Church (512 Summit St, Sanborn, IA 51248).
