He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Christiansen and Adeline Christiansen (Wiese); his wife Beverly Christiansen; his son Scott; and his siblings, Dale Christiansen, Shirley Gehring, Phyllis Brotherson, Beverely Hammer and Melroy Christiansen.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Christiansen (Victoria) of Schleswig and Terri Bull (Stephen) of Ruskin, Florida; his grandchildren, Marta Forrester (Casey) and Philip Willson; his caregiver Sheri Capron of Kiron; and his pet Bud.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Huebner Funeral Home (107 Birch St, Schleswig, IA 51461). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (501 Glad St, Schleswig, IA 51461). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the Crawford Heights Memory Gardens.
