He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Peter and Emma Christianson (Duscheng); his son James Paul Christianson (Amy); his granddaughters, Emily Christianson (Michael) and Olivia Christianson; his niece Frances Finck; his former wife Joan Heskett; his sister Lucille Horn; and his former wives, Norma Brady and Norma Alexander.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Jones County Historical Society, 13838 Edinburgh Rd, Scotch Grove, IA 52310, in loving memory of James.
