She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Renken and Wilhelmina Renken (Ludwigs); her husband Robert; her parents-in-law, Genevieve and Floyd Becker; her sisters, Berniece Schleis (Walter) and Betty Schultz; and her brother-in-law Don Freking.

She is survived by: her children, Leona, Steven (Linda Becker), Stuart (Tina Becker) and Susan (Lee Konz); her grandchildren, Adam Dial (Joni), Elizabeth Basham (Michael), Kara Becker, Frank Becker, Christina Konz and Kaitelin Konz; her great grandchildren, Brady Dial, Ansley Dial, Charlotte Basham and Gabriel Basham; her siblings, Carol Freking of Topeka, KS, Lorraine Borchers (Lloyd) of Akron, IA, Fred Renken (Joyce) of Canton, KS and Richard Renken of Le Mars, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry, Gloria Becker of Eagle Grove, IA and LeRoy Schultz of Le Mars, IA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
