With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol J. Smit of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, who passed away on June 3, 2020 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol J. Smit to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jake Cramer and Henrietta Cramer (Reynolds); her husband George "Tommy" L. Smit; her daughter Beverly; and her sister Mildred Smit.

She is survived by : her daughter Nancy Pinkley (Roger) of Sergeant Bluff, IA. She is also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as other relatives and friends.
