He was predeceased by: his mother Lucinda Walsh; his adoptive parents, James Kinney and Margaret Kinney (McGlinchey); his sons, Maurice and Stephen Kinney; his grandson Thomas Kinney; his stepson Brian Reed; his stepgrandson Brandon Reed; and his siblings, Eleanor, Nina, Ralph, Earl and Richard.
He is survived by: his close friend Rusty; his wife Brenda Kinney (Milton); his children, Shawn Kinney, Gary Kinney (Cheryl) and Scott Kinney; his stepsons, Robert Reed (Carrie), Troy Reed (Sue) and Douglas Reed (Deborah); his stepgrandchildren, Katlyn, Christopher, Michael and Patrick; his great grandchild Rylee; and his siblings, Ruth, Nancy and Charles. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
