She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Pruis and Anna Pruis (Huizenga); her husband John R. Boender; her sisters, Analene (Charles Botkin) and Carlene Pruis; her niece Linda Pettenger; her nephew William Pruis; her siblings-in-law, John Boender, Claude Boender (Lucy), Henry Boender (Anna), Lucretia Boender, Adrianna Boender, Arlene (Gerrit Ver Hoek) and Jean Van Oort; and her nephews, Harold Ver Hoek and Phillip Van Oort.
She is survived by : her children, David (Vera Boender), Andrew (Susan Boender) and Ruthann Boender of Sheldon; her grandchildren, Timothy Boender (Dawn), Samuel Boender, Caleb Boender, Elizabeth Boender and Zachary Boender; her great grandchildren, Eva, Anna, Lily Boender and Barry Browning; and her sister-in-law Josephine Van Oort. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
