He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ponton and Dixie Ponton (Johnson); his siblings, Timothy and Beverly; and his parents-in-law, Russell and Wilma Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Jackson; his children, Jeff, Stacey Burson (Jeff) of Surprise, AZ, Amy Vance (Steve) of Atlantic, IA, Shawn Ponton (Jasmine) of Mesa, AZ, Jeffrey Ponton of Sidney, IA and Nikki Kohagen (Mike) of Ankeny, IA; his siblings, James Ponton of Reno, NV and Joyce Valdivia of Mesa, AZ; and his grandchildren, Zachery, Zane Vance, Bennett Archer, Henry, Oliver Kohagen and Embry Ponton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
