It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene June Willemssen of Sibley, Iowa, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Philip Willemssen and Harriet Willemssen (Meyeraan); her siblings, Richard and Phyllis Van Wyk; and her brother-in-law Willard Van Wyk.
She is survived by : her sister Dorothy Willemssen of Sibley; her nephew Ryan Van Wyk (Tricia) of Sibley, IA; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Anna Boedensteiner (Jeff), Emily Poss, Rachel Poss, Shelby (Van Wyk), Erik Thorp of Cloquet, MN, Reid Van Wyk of Colorado Springs, CO, Jarrett Van Wyk of Ames, IA and Delores Truckenmiller of Sibley, IA; her nieces, Denise Truckenmiller, Glenn Greenfield of Sibley and Darcy Martinez of Sibley, IA; and her great-nieces, Kelsey Joseph (Elesson) of Sibley, IA and Alecia Juelfs (Jacob) of Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by great great niece and nephews.
