It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary W Leusink of Sibley, Iowa, born in Prosser, Washington, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Morris Leusink and Gertrude Leusink (Meendering); his brother-in-law Lyle Ohler; and his parents-in-law, Chuck Miedema, Trudy Van Beek and Stanley Gaalswyk.
He is survived by : his former life partner Wilmina Van Beek; his wife Wilma Leusink of Sibley, IA; his children, Jimmy Leusink of Sibley, Tammy Breitweiser of Sibley, Dawn Smith (Stephen) of Sibley and Janet McFarlane (Donald) of Edgerton, WI; his grandchildren, Jacob Leusink (Kathryn), Jessica Leusink, Emma McFarlane, Hailey Leusink and Andrea Leusink; his great grandchildren, Kynlee Leusink, Gavin Leusink, Celaena Leusink, Bentley Semrow and Troy Karlson; his siblings, Helen Ohler of Grand Rapids, MI and Dale Leusink (Karen) of Orange City; and his parents-in-law, Agnes Miedema of Rock Valley, Albert Van Beek (Vicki) of Rock Valley, Klaas Van Beek of Sioux Center, Gertrude Gaalswyk of Sibley, Henrietta Kots (Loren) of Rock Valley and Gerrit Van Beek (Deb) of Rock Valley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
