It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Jean Loerts of Sibley, Iowa, who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lambert Post and Gertrude Post (Tuinstra); her daughter Terri Lynn; and her husband Duane M. Loerts. She is survived by : her children, Patricia Hansen (Peter) of Spencer, IA, James Loerts (Sue) of Omaha, NE and Mary Erdle (Tim) of Chaska, MN; her grandchildren, Jennifer Krieg, Scott Hansen, Daniel Erdle, Brittany Bader, Justin Loerts and Dylan Loerts; and her great grandchildren, Mercedes Krieg and Lennox Krieg. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
