With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Northup of Sigourney, Iowa, who passed away on March 18, 2021 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Northup to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Florang (Riley) and Vivian Tarvin Florang; and her niece Denise Christian. She is survived by : her children, Shelly Glandon of Oskaloosa, Amy Stevens (Monica) of Marion, Ericka Miller (Michelle) of Cedar Rapids, Riley Northup of Sigourney and Wendy Bailey of Washington; her sisters, Barbara Casper of Bussey, Alice Stramer (Dan) of Watkins and Celia Lawson of Cedar Rapids; and her sibling-in-law D'Wayne Casper. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made mailed to Post office box 9999, Oskaloosa, Iowa or the Bates Funeral Chapel.
