It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth L. Sampson (Sioux City, Iowa), born in Vermillion, South Dakota, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Richer and Josephine "Melancon" Richer (William); her son Roy; and her siblings, Annie, Mary, Evie, Buster, George, Bernie and Ray.

She is survived by: her sister Marce of Boise, Idaho; her children, Bill, Ronnie, Pete, Terry, Vickie and Mary Jo; and her grandchildren, Jackie, Mike, Amy, Dean, Chris, LeAnn, Adam, Lee, Ronnie Jr., Mandee, Trevor, Tara and Austin. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.

She loved to sew and made not only clothes for her growing children in her younger years, but she made beautiful dresses which were donated to children in Nigeria.
