She was predeceased by : her parents, William Tentinger and Katherine Tentinger (Ludwig); her husband Edward; her daughter Karen Smith; her daughter-in-law Ellen Ritz; and her siblings, Mert Augustine, Rita Henke, Lois Toups, Irwin Tentinger and Roman Tentinger.
She is survived by : her children, Larry Ritz of Akron, IA, Margy Huewe (Bob) of Walker, MN and Ronn Ritz (Dianne) of Ames, IA; her sisters, Phyllis Boever (Jim) of Davenport, IA, Paula Schroeder (Gib) of Remsen, IA and Doris Rhuland of Le Mars, IA; and her son-in-law Dennis Smith of Sioux City. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren.
