He was predeceased by : his parents, Marion Lee and Lydia Eveline Pinney (Deaton); his sister Maxine Bell; his son Roger Leroy Pinney; and his grandchildren, Brittany Leigh Pinney and Randy Christopher Pinney.
He is survived by : his wife Marlene of Sioux City; his children, Kathy Pinney (Dan Sturges) of Sioux City, Vicky Pinney (Robert Higgins) of Sioux City, Lonnie Pinney (Maribeth) of Hinton, IA and Randy Pinney (Michele) of Laurens, IA; his grandchildren, Brandon Sturges (Amber Callahan), Mickey Sturges (Renee), Amy Sturges, Chantel Pinney, Duane Pinney (Janet Rodriguez), Codey Dvorkin (Sabrina), Kamber Wodtke (Isaac), Heather Baker (Clinton), Holly Pinney (Eric Koob), Austin Pinney (Hailey Fansega) and Kaitlyn Pinney (Rich Michaelson); and his brothers, Richard, Ronnie and Dennis Pinney. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
