She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Shaw and Catherine Shaw (Kenworthy); her husband Edward Caravan; and her daughter Ranne Louise Caravan. She is survived by : her sons, Bill Caravan (Bonnie) of Le Mars, IA, Ronald Caravan (Amber) of Waukee, IA and Steven Caravan (Crystal) of Eaton, CO.; her grandchildren, Trudy Poeckes (Chad), TJ Caravan (Carly), Tyler Caravan, Kayla Schmidt (Andy), Rachel Weinrich (Philip), Brooke Modlin (Nate), Tara Caravan and Chanc Caravan; and her great grandchildren, Briana, Taye, Jozi, Tyler, Mia, Sophia, Berklee of Talen, AJ, Carson and Cameron.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City (4125 Orleans Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mater Dei Parish Church of Nativity (4242 Natalia Way, Sioux City, IA 51106).
