We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2025, at the age of 81, Patricia A. Skuya Ramirez of Sioux City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Patricia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Patricia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willam Skuya and Ramona Skuya (Fleming); and her brothers, Mike Skuya and Bill Skuya. She is survived by: her children, Rita Carrell (Randy), Lori Burns (Jim), Olivia Ramirez, Joe Ramirez (Lucy), Bill Melbie, Gustavo Ramirez, Sr. (Elsa) and Hugo Ramirez Sr. (Aurora); and her sisters, Barb Quam (Roger "Butch") and Sandy Dorfman. She is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Granddaughter.
