Lois Jean Miller Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Jean Miller of Soldier, Iowa, born in Mondamin, Iowa, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Rolph and Irene Rolph (Wallis); her husband Jack Miller; her son Donald Miller; her parents-in-law, Edward and Ruth Miller (Hittle); her siblings, Alvena Phillips (Paul), Norman Rolph (Marsha) and Gordon Rolph (Charlotte); and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Carritt (Don), Lorna Rolph, Kenneth Miller (Sylvia) and Mel Oaks.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Miller (Susan) of Moorhead, Ronald Miller (Cindy) of Moorhead, Gale Miller (Rhonda) of Soldier, Beverly Hadden (Alan) of Soldier and Grace Lenz (Ron) of Blair, Nebraska; her siblings, Kathryn Oaks, Lorna McNeil, Colleen Vaughn (Mike) and Wally Rolph; and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Rolph, Gerald Miller (Beth) and Norman Miller (Bobbie). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty- five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Moorhead Christian Church, Moorhead, Iowa with Pastor Chuck Snow officiating. (Please bring and wear masks to the visitation and funeral service).

Memorials may be directed in Lois' memory to the Moorhead Fire and Rescue and the Soldier Fire and Rescue.
