It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Ewoldt of Solon, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on July 27, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Carl Luchterhand and Rose Luchterhand (Bednar); her husband Harold F. Ewoldt; her daughter Susan; her sister Betty Jean Miller; and her son-in-law Darrel Ballantyne of Solon.

Dorothy M. Ewoldt, 99, of Solon, Iowa died Monday, July 27, 2020, at the Solon Nursing Care Center, after contracting COVID-19.
