We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2018, at the age of 80, Douglas Frank Zangerle (Solon, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Zangerle and Ellen Zangerle (Mulvihill); his daughter Lavina; his siblings, Kenneth Zangerle (Maxine) and Judith Gugliemetti; and his brother-in-law Lynn Forest.

He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his children, Eric Zangerle (Jane) and Amy Zangerle; his grandchildren, Jordon, Devon, Jacey, Jack, Ted and Braedon; and his siblings, Sandy Dupler (Tom), Virginia Forest, Joyce Keeley, Herschel Zangerle (Shelley) and Greydon Zangerle (Kris). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
