With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lou Kindler (Solon, Iowa), born in Cedar, Iowa, who passed away on January 19, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her stepgrandson Donald Bartling Jr.; her parents, George Benesh and Rosa Benesh; her brother Elme Lee Benesh; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Olsen.

She is survived by : her spouse Oscar Kindler; her children, John Kindler, Geraldine Kindler (Gerry), Richard L. Kindler of Solon and Brenda Bartling (David Miron) of Michigan; her grandchildren, Justin Bartling of Solon and Teah Bartling of North Liberty; her sister Helen Rupe of Swisher; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Ball and Lillian Luettegens. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
