It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mayola Pollet (Solon, Iowa), born in Jesup, Iowa, who passed away on October 1, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Delbert; her children, Brett Pollet and Diane Pollet; and her siblings, Mike, Alger, Glen, Wayne, Darrel, Ronnie, DeVee Ashlock, Romona Hartley and Alice Frazer.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Pollet (Jan) of Mound Ridge, Darrel Pollet, North Liberty, Mike Pollet and Sharon Cordes (John) of Durango, Colorado; her grandsons, Patrick Kayser (Sandra) and Jonathan Cordes (Melanie); her great grandchildren, Keenan Kayser, Garrett Kayser and Liam Cordes; her siblings, Robert Oliphant and Willa Richey; her siblings-in-law, Dorthy Beers and Richard Pollet; and her child Camp Courageous.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to St. Jude Children Hospital or Camp Courageous or a charity of your choice in Mayola's name.
