With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Lee Fleming (Solon, Iowa), who passed away on January 9, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Fleming and Freda Fleming (Boone); his wife Shirley Louise Snider; and his siblings, Betty Hohl and Merton Fleming.
He is survived by: his children, Randall Fleming (Jane) of Iowa City, IA, Linda Anderson (Michael) of Chicago, IL and Paul Fleming of Minneapolis, MN; his grandsons, Scott Fleming of Kansas City, MO and Jeff Fleming (Nike) of Iowa City; his great grandchildren, Connor, Jack and Lydia; and his brother Jim Fleming (Kolene) of Burlington, IA.. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
Memorials may be directed toward the Solon Retirement Village Foundation, Iowa City Hospice, or to the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Eldora.
