She was predeceased by : her parents, George Frank and Leone Marie Nearad; her former life partner Marvin Prochaska; her brother Richard Nearad; and her grandchildren, Sidney and Jacob.
She is survived by : her husband Leo Ruth; her children, Cindy Rohret (Don) of Iowa City, Anita Cornwell (Tim) of Solon, Randy Prochaska (Tonya) of West Dundee, Rita Nolte (Russ) of Watkins and Tina Van Dee (Lane) of Deep River; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Megan, Amber, Alicia, Zac, Anthony, Lexis, Abigail, Dakota, Garrett, Cassie and Jamie; her siblings, Wilbur Nearad (Mary) and Terry Hoffman (Bill); and her stepchildren, Betty Cale (Dick) of Davenport, Debbie Jones (Steve Dohse) of Bettendorf, Chuck Ruth (Cindy) of Ely, Annette Tomlinson (Mike) of Eldridge, Michele Manion (Dennis) of Bettendorf and Clint Ruth (Jennifer) of Eldridge. She is also survived by seventeen step-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
