He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Max and Ova Dorine Martin (Kinnamon); his brothers, Dennis Martin and Stuart Martin (Sue); and his nephew Ashley McElroy.
He is survived by: his sons, Chad Martin (Khensa) of Bloomfield Hills and Josh Martin (Alex) of Des Moines, Iowa; his stepson Nick Venema (Micah) of East Amana, Iowa; and his siblings, Nancy McElroy (Donnie) of Queen City, Missouri and Edwin Martin (Kim) of Marengo, Iowa. He is also survived by three grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family members.
