It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Myron Swanson (Spencer, Iowa), born in Hartley, Iowa, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Swanson and Mildred Swanson (Toft); his wife Linda Koenig; and his sister Karen Cusack. He is survived by: his children, Chris Swanson (Lisa) of Peterson, IA and Pam Hanson (Tom) of Linn Grove, IA; his grandson Brandon Peterson Collin (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Lennon, Briar Peterson, Kyeson Hanson and Landry Swanson. He is also survived by other relatives; and many special friends.
The family will not be able to receive friends at Allen's home on Sunday due to COVID.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Allen's name.
