She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Halsey and Annie Halsey (Birks); her husband Charles Roland; and her siblings, Helen Wolfe, Lillian Smith and Leonard Halsey.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy, Cindy Osborne (Richard) of Ankeny, Lori Price (Brad) of Spirit Lake and Kim Carter (Tracy) of Spencer, Iowa; her grandchildren, Nathan Osborne (Kari) of Altoona, Mindy Truong (Jesse) of Spirit Lake, Mathew Osborne of Ankeny, Sarah Perry (Dexter) of Altoona, Jeremy Carter (Kaitlin) of Mankato, Kristy Riley (Cavon) of Webb, Michael Price of Spirit Lake, Danielle Rolark (Marcus) of Urbandale, Brittany Grimes (Kevin) of Pasadena and Christopher Carter of LeMars, Iowa; her great grandchildren, McKenzie, Abigail, Keagen, Gabriel, Izayah, Maurion, Isabelle, Jaidyn, Neeko, Jaimee, Jordyn, Khloe, Aiden, Ethan, Andrielle, Elise, Henry, Ariana, Pierce, Bergan, Benton and Forest; her sister Mary Blanche Miller of Dover, Delaware; and her cousin Gwendolyn Bennett of Neptune City. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
